Holiday Learning Toy Drives

Recruit your friends, family members, vendors, employer/employees, or customers to join you and accept the challenge to collect learning toys or host a local learning toy drive

Be a season toy collection site:
As an individual organization, as a company or as an employee group, provide a secure site during November and December for your associates to drop off new learning toys, books, games and sports equipment for infants through age 12. Advertise via posters, inter-office mail or e-mail and ask that each item have a value of $10 or more. A toy collection site is especially successful in an area where a number of people come and go daily. Appoint a collection site leader to inventory the toys and deliver them to the Navidad warehouse at Fair Park

Become a one-time host for a local toy drive:
As a professional organization or companies with numerous sites, you may choose to encourage each site to collect toys from employees and consolidate them for Navidad pick up or hold a one-day or weekend collection drive. In addition, holiday parties where attendees bring entrance gifts are one-shot successful toy drives because they have a large group of people in one spot at one time. Once a collection leader has an inventory complete, you may deliver them to the Navidad warehouse at Fair Park.

Book or Sport's Ball Drives

Have your organization or company choose a specific month to encourage individual chapters or departments to compete in collecting books or balls for Navidad. For example, during football season, you could collect footballs, basketball season – basketballs, etc. Hispanic or African American professional organizations may want to hold special drives during Hispanic Heritage or Black History Month.

In addition, if you hold sales or quarterly meetings, you could choose to have attendees bring a book or ball. If for example, it is an advertising agency, you could collect coloring books; or if your company was in the entertainment business, you could collect sports memorabilia suitable for children. Be innovative and make it your OWN drive for Navidad.

Once a collection leader has an inventory complete, you may call Navidad for pick-up for delivery to storage.
