2009 Program is FULL
Would your organization like to participate in Navidad in the Neighborhood projects?
Please note, Navidad DOES NOT SERVE INDIVIDUALS – you must be an elementary school, a social service agency (501c (3) status), a church or a city-managed recreation center.
Acceptance Tip: Applications are accepted first come first serve each fall and only one type of agency from each zip code area can be served. For example, if your elementary school is in an area where we are already serving an elementary school then you will only be served if the original one drops out, etc. Agencies in good standing that participate during the holidays can then participate in Fall into Reading or Spring into Sports the following year.
- First, the participating organization determines which of their families to serve and they must fit the guidelines in the chart below:
To meet our goal to serve needy families, participating organizations use the following chart to make sure your nominees meet our income guidelines before completing family registration forms. If children qualify to receive free or reduced lunch from their school then they typically meet our guidelines.

- Third, our agencies are required to send volunteers into our toy warehouse to help sort and wrap gifts.
- Fourth, our agencies pick-up the family bags from our warehouse and deliver to the families for them to wrap or take home and place under the tree.
